Korean companies Hyundai, LG and Samsung are considering the possibility of returning to the Russian market. This was reported on March 28 by The Korea Times newspaper.

"As the truce talks between Russia and Ukraine gain momentum, major Korean companies are accelerating their feasibility studies for resuming business in Russia," the newspaper writes.

It is noted that LG Electronics has already partially resumed work at its factory of electronic devices in Moscow. Participation in the Russian sector is also demonstrated by HD Hyundai Electric, which plans to present its developments through a local distributor at the Electro-2025 exhibition, clarifiesГазета.Ru ".

According to The Korea Times, HD Hyundai Electric subsidiaries Kia, Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai Steel have posted vacancies in Russia, which indicates a high chance of resuming operations. Samsung Electronics is also considering the possibility of returning to Russia.

Bloomberg reported on March 25 that the world's largest commodity and energy trading companies would allow their return to Russia if anti-Russian sanctions were lifted. It is noted that commodity traders actively conducted business in the Russian Federation, but were forced to abandon transactions and cooperation with partners in Russia as Western countries imposed restrictions against Russian exports.
