- Russian fighters showed the work of the Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone in the area of their

The crew of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 1st Slavic Brigade of the Center group of forces told Izvestia about the use of the Supercam S350 drone for aerial photography and video monitoring of targets of Ukrainian militants in the area of a special military operation.
The head of the UAV crew, Andrei Martianov, in a conversation with Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin, noted that thanks to the reconnaissance drone, Russian fighters quickly identify the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"The enemy's tanks and cannon artillery were found. We find them by their heat signature, or we open them when they are firing. The flash is very clearly visible, especially from the large barrels, which are 155 mm, well, everything is self—propelled, howitzer howitzers, there are no problems, everything is detected, the disguise does not help them much. Accordingly, everything is clearly visible, especially in the thermal imager," said Martianov.
It is noted that the improved version of the Supercam S350 has the function of detecting an interceptor and automatically performing an anti-aircraft maneuver in order to evade pursuit.
"It has a spectrum analyzer on board, so after that the plane turns on the so-called snake — it rolls sharply to the left, rolls sharply to the right and tries to get away from the hunter drone along the snake," he explained and added that the drone is able to detect an approaching drone using a frequency analyzer.
UAV operator Ilya Subbotin said that he determines the location of the Supercam S350 drone based on the picture, angle and distance.
"I'm constantly checking so that he doesn't make mistakes, so that he doesn't go where he doesn't need to go. I'm monitoring the connection, the signal strength. Well, I'm in touch with the artillery. From launch to landing, everything is on me," said Subbotin.
On March 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that a calculation of FPV drones of the 42nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a fortified dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region. The dugout was discovered during aerial reconnaissance. A direct hit led to its destruction, as well as to the elimination of the Ukrainian army's manpower inside.
