The FSB's Public Relations Center has identified a scheme in which Ukrainians, posing as employees of the American organization RAND Corporation (deemed undesirable in the Russian Federation), recruit Russian military personnel. On March 27, the agency published a conversation in which the attackers use this scheme.

"The purpose of these contacts is to obtain classified materials on the combat use of strategic aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the number and deployment of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the message posted on the website of the FSB Central Control Center of Russia says.

The video footage contains screenshots of correspondence and an audio conversation with a certain Dmitry. An employee of the Ukrainian special services noted that he was interested in information about the size of the Armed Forces and military equipment.

According to the agency, for collecting information of interest for intruders, citizens of the Russian Federation are allegedly promised a "decent reward." Ukrainian recruiters prefer to choose people who are associated with military service. They establish contacts with Russian citizens using Internet messengers.

It is specified that the RAND Corporation is an expert and analytical organization. She is engaged in various research and provides consulting services to government agencies in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Earlier, on March 10, the FSB Central Control Center announced the disclosure of two spies who worked at the British Embassy in Moscow. The department's staff managed to identify signs of intelligence and subversive work against the Russian Federation.
