Five people were injured in an accident in Kamchatka


A head-on collision of two cars occurred in Kamchatka, as a result of which five people were injured. This was announced on Thursday, March 27, by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.
According to the agency, the accident occurred on the night of March 27 on the highway connecting the villages of Nagorny and Mirny. The initiator of the accident was a 25-year-old Toyota Corolla driver who does not have a driver's license.
Moving at an unsafe speed, he drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Mazda Atenza car driven by a 35-year-old man who had previously been deprived of the right to drive vehicles.
The driver and a 25-year-old female passenger of the Toyota, as well as a 23-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man who were in the Mazda, were taken from the accident site to the trauma department. Another 25-year-old female passenger of the Mazda was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
An investigation is currently underway into the accident.
The day before, an accident was reported on the highway in Primorsky Krai. It was clarified that a passenger car collided with a truck on the Khabarovsk–Vladivostok highway near Ussuriysk, as a result of which two adults and two children were injured.
