- The State Duma proposed to develop a law on the relationship between a robot and a human

The Russian Federation should have developed basic legislation on the relationship between a robot and a human. This was stated on March 26 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during a report by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to the State Duma.
"We don't have a basic law. The relationship between a robot and a human. Where is he? Right now, any discovery, any launch, even test projects, cannot be released into the street, because if something happens, there will be a problem. It is important for us to prepare basic legislation that will create conditions in our country: for inventors to come here, so that those who cannot in other countries can realize themselves here," Volodin said.
In particular, the Chairman of the State Duma proposed to develop projects that would allow "as soon as possible" to form a legislative field on this issue.
"A car with a robot will run over someone. And what will happen? That's what we're talking about. These are all issues that need to be resolved first," he said.
Earlier, on March 24, it became known from the results of a study by the Aquarelle Research agency that Russians are constantly confronted with artificial intelligence (AI), including many who are passionate about smart home devices. In addition, translators help many of the respondents overcome the language barrier.
