Clinical psychologist Daria Salnikova told on March 24 how to overcome the spring blues.

In an interview with Radio 1, the specialist noted that both nature and the human body are being rebuilt in the spring, but everything must proceed at its own pace.

According to her, it takes time to adjust to activity and positivity, since spring vitamin deficiency also affects a person, as well as fatigue.

The specialist advised to allow yourself to undergo restructuring in the way that the body requires: to sleep more if you want, to stay at home instead of meeting with friends. She also urged not to scold yourself for being tired and lazy, but to allow yourself to live this melancholy.

"It's like a disease, you need to give yourself time to get out of this state. We are not superheroes who must constantly be smiling, productive and positive, we have protracted non—constructive states - this is a characteristic of a healthy psyche," Salnikova explained.

She also advised not to overestimate the importance of your negative emotions. The psychologist explained that clinical depression is possible if a person has been experiencing negative states, fatigue, insomnia, and dissatisfaction with life for more than two months. If this happens periodically, it is a simple sadness. If such conditions persist, you should seek help from your family and a specialist. Salnikova stressed that you need to be able to ask for help, because a person is not able to cope with everything on their own.

On March 21, doctor Olga Chistik said that mostly depression and fatigue with the onset of the spring season are typical for people over the age of 25. At the same time, the older a person is, the easier it is for them to adapt to the exhaustion of the body after winter.

In February, Daniel Amen, an American psychiatrist and expert in the field of neuroimaging, told how to cope with the blues in the morning. It is important to pronounce positive attitudes, thus setting yourself up for the positive, notes Pravda.Ru .

Earlier, experts told us how to cope with the Sunday blues. So, it often occurs in the afternoon, because people, instead of recuperating, begin to worry about the upcoming work week and experience stress. In this regard, it is important to plan the weekend correctly, and to think about the work for the next week on Friday, so as not to return to them on vacation. Saturday can be devoted to household chores, and Sunday — only to rest or entertainment in order to get a positive charge for the whole week, according to NSN.
