Putin awarded Anna Mikhalkova the title of People's Artist of Russia

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin awarded actress Anna Mikhalkova the title of People's Artist of Russia. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on March 25.

Actor Maxim Averin and TV presenter Alexander Oleshko received the same title.

"For great achievements in the development of cinematographic, theatrical, choreographic, circus and variety art, to award the honorary title of "People's Artist of the Russian Federation" to Maxim Averin <...>, Anna Nikitichna Mikhalkova <...>, Alexander Vladimirovich Oleshko," says the document "On awarding state awards of the Russian Federation."

Snigir, Tsyganov and Yura Borisov handed over their awards to other actors.

Earlier, on February 11, Putin awarded the title of Honored Artists of Russia to singers Katya Lel and Elena Vaenga.

On December 12, 2024, in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin, the President of the Russian Federation presented the Hero of Labor Medal to composer, People's Artist of the USSR and RSFSR Alexandra Pakhmutova, deputies of the State Duma Gennady Zyuganov and Vladimir Resin, as well as the head of the Rostov Helicopter Production Complex Peter Motrenko.
