Japarov signed the law on the state border with Tajikistan adopted by Parliament


Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov signed the law on the state border with Tajikistan, which was adopted by the Parliament of the republic. This was announced on March 25 by the press service of the Kyrgyz leader.
"President Sadyr Japarov signed the law on Ratification of the agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan on the Kyrgyz-Tajik State Border, signed on March 13, 2025 in Bishkek," the statement said.
It is specified that the law was adopted by the vice-speaker of the Parliament of the republic, Jamil Isaev, on March 19, 2025.
It is noted that the creation of a legal and regulatory framework between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan along the state border is aimed at ensuring stability and security, creating favorable conditions for citizens of both states.
Earlier, on March 13, Japarov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon signed an agreement on the border line between the two countries. We are talking about the checkpoints "Kairagach" and "Kyzyl-Bel". The border has been closed since 2021.
