Trump announced the approval of a rare earth metals deal with Ukraine

US President Donald Trump announced that an agreement has been reached with Ukraine on an agreement on rare earth metals. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on March 24.

At a meeting with his cabinet, Trump also said that the United States is discussing with Ukraine the potential of American firms that own Ukrainian power plants.

"We are talking about demarcation lines, about power, about ownership of power plants. Some people say that the power plant should belong to the United States because we have experience," the American leader said.

Earlier, on February 19, Trump said that the Ukrainian authorities had disrupted the rare earth metals deal. According to him, because of the former US administration, the country is sending funds that are subsequently transferred to other states.
