Captain Skvortsov provided a communication line under the fire of the AFU artillery

Captain Andrey Skvortsov and his unit performed the tasks of providing communications for units of the motorized rifle division in the area of the special military operation (SVO). On Monday, March 24, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian Army soldiers.
Not far from the settlement near the line of contact, Skvortsov's unit was organizing communications at the front line of defense when the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) opened artillery fire on Russian positions.
Skvortsov assessed the situation and decided to complete the organization of communication, since communication between the units was necessary. Russian military personnel took measures to disguise the installed communication equipment and ensured uninterrupted communication between the command and the front line.
The Defense Ministry also noted the courage and professionalism of Private Denis Golovchenko, who, as part of the assault group, carried out the task of storming the AFU stronghold. Golovchenko broke through to the enemy trenches in the front ranks, while the Russian stormtroopers were covered by mortars and infantrymen.
The private managed to ensure that the assault group entered the stronghold, which was soon cleared and taken under control. The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted three times to regain the lost lines, but the Russian military successfully repelled the attacks, and the enemy retreated again.
Earlier, on March 23, the Ministry of Defense reported that Junior Sergeant Firuz Yakupov, who performs combat missions as part of a howitzer self-propelled artillery battery, personally destroyed two machine-gun crews and more than 20 enemy infantry during an attempted offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, the enemy artillery was suppressed by the calculation forces.
