The United States has deported a group of Venezuelan migrants to the Guantanamo base.

US law enforcement officers have sent a group of 21 Venezuelan migrants to prison at the Guantanamo military base. This was reported on March 22 by ABC News TV channel, citing a source.
"On Thursday (March 20), the Trump administration sent another group of migrants to Guantanamo Bay, claiming that many of them are members of the Venezuelan gang Tren De Aragua. <...> 21 people awaiting deportation were taken on a flight to a military base," the TV channel reports.
At the same time, it is reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump has not provided any evidence that the detainees are indeed gang members.
According to the source, such flights are carried out in the country every day.
In February, the media reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump was taking measures to lift protection from deportation for 348,000 Venezuelans. This means that about 348,000 Venezuelans with temporary protected status, that is, more than half of all Venezuelans covered by the program, may be deported and lose their work permits in April.
