On the anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, victims Sergey and Evgeny shared details of the tragedy, as well as how their lives changed after the incident. They told Izvestia about this on March 22.
"We arrived a little late and found ourselves in a crowd that was being shot at. We managed to run behind the decoration in the foyer, behind the glass, which is in this part, and waited until it all passed, looking for exits," said Sergey.
Evgeny added that he found a way out of the hall and ran out into the street with the crowd, where he left the playground in his car with three other people whom he took with him.
"What we have seen is an opportunity to be more happy now, to know that some problems are just tasks,— Sergey summed up.
According to Evgeny, after the terrorist attack, "life has increased in value." He added that after the incident, he began to study the problem of terrorism.
"Personally, it made me study the problem of terrorism, I was interested in it, because you need to know the enemy by sight," the man said.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, they started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. 145 people were killed and 551 injured in the attack.
