The Taiwanese authorities reported the approach of 47 aircraft and seven ships of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) to the island. This was announced on March 22 by the press service of the Ministry of National Self-Defense of the state on the social network X (Ex. Twitter).

"47 aircraft, seven PLA vessels and one official vessel operating around Taiwan were detected before 06:00 (01:00 Moscow time) today," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that 41 of the 47 aircraft crossed the median line and entered the northern, southwestern and eastern air defenses of Taiwan. Employees of the defense forces monitored the situation and were able to respond to it.
