TFR has completed investigative actions with 19 accused of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia carried out comprehensive work in cooperation with the departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the framework of the criminal case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. This was announced on March 22 by the press service of the department.

It is specified that at the moment, investigative actions have been completed with 19 accused of committing terrorist crimes. A number of other defendants were put on the wanted list.

The investigation concluded that the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall was planned and organized by the special services of an unfriendly state with the involvement of members of an international terrorist organization in order to destabilize the situation in Russia.

The Investigative Committee of Russia informed that the terrorist attack was organized by six Central Asian citizens who were abroad, who were arrested in absentia and put on the wanted list.

"These individuals recruited four perpetrators of the attack — Dalerjon Mirzoev, Mukhammadsobir Fayzov, Shamsidin Fariduni and Saidakrami Rachabilizoda — and organized their training abroad," the press service of the department reported.

In addition, persons who helped the perpetrators in renting housing, provided them with transport, weapons, and also financed terrorist activities were brought to criminal responsibility.

"After reviewing the materials of the criminal case, the accused will appear before the court," the Investigative Committee concluded.

At least 27 defendants are involved in the case of the terrorist attack on March 22, 2024.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, they started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. 145 people were killed and 551 injured in the attack.

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia reported that the terrorists who carried out the attack had to cross the border of Russia and Ukraine after the crime, come to Kiev and receive the promised reward. During the interrogations, the defendants confirmed that their actions were supervised by a man through voice messages in the Telegram messenger.

On March 3 of this year, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, said that in less than a year the investigative actions in the criminal case of the terrorist attack had been completed.
