In France, they called for Macron to be removed from the presidency

The removal of French President Emmanuel Macron from office is a vital necessity. This was announced on March 21 by the leader of the Get Up, France party, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.
"His dismissal is a vital and emergency situation," he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The politician said that the head of state was creating a false threat from Russia in order to maintain power and "empty the pockets of the French."
In his address to the nation on March 5, Macron stated that he intends to discuss the use of nuclear weapons in order to protect the entire European Union (EU). He called on the EU to provide itself with the largest amount of military equipment and build up defense capabilities "for the sake of peace itself." According to him, Russia has allegedly become a threat to France and Europe in the coming years.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the French president's statement about the Russian threat to Europe confrontational. He noted that Macron's speech can hardly be perceived "as a speech by a head of state who thinks about the world."
