83% of Russians surveyed trust Putin.


The level of trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin has not changed since last week, amounting to 83% of the surveyed citizens of the country. The data of the new survey was shared on March 21 by the Public Opinion Foundation.
The same number of the population, 83%, expressed confidence that the president is doing his job well as head of state.
56% (minus 1 percentage point) of Russians positively assessed the work of the government, and 60% of respondents (plus 1 percentage point) said that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was working well.
The survey was conducted from March 14 to March 16, and 1.5 thousand Russians took part in it.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on January 17 that Putin enjoys enormous popular support. He added that the results of the polls are influenced by the successes of the special military operation. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation called it an important factor "for inspiring citizens."
