Night frosts in the Moscow region will continue until Monday, March 24. This was announced on Friday, March 21, by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.

"The nighttime negative temperatures in the region will remain until Monday, then the frosts will stop for a while," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The weather forecaster said that last night in the area of the village of Cherusti the air temperature was -3.7 degrees, and the coldest was in Melikhovo with -4.3 degrees. In New Moscow, the air temperature dropped to -3 degrees, Leus noted.

It is specified that in the central part of Moscow and in the western regions of the Moscow region, the temperature was above zero.

Earlier in the day, data from the Yandex Weather service, which was reviewed by Izvestia, revealed that on the weekend of March 22 and 23, Muscovites expect mostly clear weather. No precipitation is expected on both days. In Moscow, the temperature in the morning will be 0 degrees, in the afternoon it will remain at +2...+4, and by night it will drop to -1... -2.
