In the fall of 2025, military pensions in Russia will be increased by 4.5%. This was stated on March 21 by Sergei Gavrilov, a State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"According to the Russian budget for 2025, military pensions will be increased again in the fall — in October, it is planned to increase the salary of active military personnel by 4.5%," he said.

According to the parliamentarian, this will once again lead to an increase in payments that retired military personnel or law enforcement officers receive in Russia.

On March 18, the State Duma announced the establishment of uniform social benefits for its participants. Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin also announced on February 22 that the State Duma would consider as a matter of priority 26 bills on the support of ITS participants and their family members, eight of which were adopted in the first reading. It was clarified that among the approved initiatives is the issue of simultaneous receipt of two pensions for participants in the fighting in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
