President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and French leader Emmanuel Macron staged an allegedly sudden phone call from Paris during a press conference by the head of the Kiev regime. This was announced on March 20 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot.

The French president called Zelensky during the latter's online briefing a day earlier. The head of the Kiev regime refused to talk and said he would talk to Macron later.

"What a sinister sketch! Zelensky and Macron are staging a pseudo-impromptu phone call in the middle of [Zelensky's] press conference to show how close they are!" Philippot wrote on the social network X, commenting on the video of the episode.

At the same time, the politician noted that the Ukrainian president is going to visit France next week. According to Philippot, the head of the Kiev regime will try to get another package of financial assistance from Paris to continue military operations.

"That's enough! Let's put an end to this grim spectacle — not a single euro <...> for Ukraine!" the leader of the French "Patriots" urged.

Earlier, on March 16, Macron said that European states could send their military contingent to Ukraine and deploy it, in particular, in Kiev, Lviv and Odessa. He also clarified that the troops of European countries will implement programs for training military personnel and demonstrations.

On March 6, Macron noted that he was ready for dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but only when the right moment came, and only with Zelensky's consent.
