Reuters reported on Turkey's lifting of restrictions on wheat exports

Starting on Wednesday, March 19, the Turkish authorities lifted the previously imposed restrictions on the export of wheat grown in the country. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on the same day.
"Turkey has been allowing duty—free wheat imports under the flour export scheme since Wednesday," the agency reports.
Wheat imports were limited last summer due to low yields from local farmers.
On March 16, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov announced an expected increase in agricultural supplies from Russia to Qatar. He specified that according to the results of last year, the Russian side supplied agricultural products to Qatar for a total value of $65.2 million. According to him, this exceeded the figures for 2023.
