Izvestia News Center and Al Mayadeen TV channel sign cooperation agreement
On March 20, the Izvestia Multimedia Information Center (MIC) in Beirut, Lebanon, signed a cooperation agreement with one of the leading media outlets in the Middle East region, the Lebanese media network Al Mayadeen. The document was signed by Vladimir Tyulin, General Director of Izvestia News Center, and Ghassan ben Djiddo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen.
In addition, Alexander Rudakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Lebanon, took part in the signing ceremony. The partnership between the Russian media holding and the Lebanese TV channel will open up new prospects for the exchange of information and the development of international media cooperation.
"For us, this event is historic and very important. I am confident that our relationship with Al Mayadeen will continue to develop and be strong. We consider the TV channel to be our close partner, not only strategically, but also as a friend. Our cooperation will benefit the whole world and all journalism, because now world journalism, which has always been considered a benchmark, has shown its inconsistency, has shown itself to be an institution whose objectivity cannot be counted on for sure. I think that our joint work will allow us to build a common infrastructure for the work of our colleagues, as well as journalists from all over the world. In addition, it will provide an opportunity to convey different points of view to everyone who wants to hear them, and over time we will certainly create new standards for the global media industry," said Vladimir Tyulin, CEO of Izvestia.
The agreement, in particular, provides for the exchange of information and its joint dissemination, joint production of media content, internships for employees, and joint events. This will allow Izvestia News Center and Al Mayadeen TV channel to more effectively implement their tasks and expand their audience at the national and international levels.
The signed agreement will be an important step towards strengthening mutual understanding and trust between Russia and the countries of the Middle East, and will also contribute to a more objective and comprehensive coverage of events in both countries.
