Kyrgyz Parliament approves ratification of State border treaty with Tajikistan


The Kyrgyz Parliament approved the ratification of the agreement on the state border with Tajikistan in three readings. This was reported on March 19 by the AKIrgess agency.
On this day, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Kamchybek Tashiev presented a report at a meeting of the Parliament. As part of it, he showed the maps to the deputies, and also informed them about the exchange sites with Tajikistan.
"85 deputies voted in favor, 1 against. A total of 86 deputies were registered," the publication says.
During the meeting of the Parliament, the deputies also approved an agreement on water, economic, energy infrastructure, and an agreement on road transport infrastructure.
Earlier, on March 13, it became known that Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed an agreement on the border line between the countries. The document was signed by Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Emomali Rahmon in Bishkek.
