"The weather in Moscow is preparing a gift for meteorologists on their professional holiday. On Sunday, March 23, World Meteorological Day is celebrated," the meteorologist said in her Telegram channel.
According to Pozdnyakova, a powerful anticyclone will come to the European territory of Russia that day. Atmospheric pressure in the capital will reach 766 mmHg, a record high. It is noted that previously a particularly high atmospheric pressure was recorded on March 23, 1941. Its index was 764.1 mmHg.
According to the weather forecaster, on this day the air temperature in Moscow will reach +10 ...+12 degrees.
Mikhail Leus, a specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that last night was the coldest in the capital since the beginning of spring. In the center of Moscow, the air temperature was -3.5 degrees, in the suburbs -10.9 degrees, in New Moscow -13.5 degrees.
