The bullied schoolgirl was awarded 500 thousand rubles of compensation in the Khabarovsk Territory

In the Khabarovsk Territory, a court recovered half a million rubles from a rural school due to the inaction of the director and teachers during the harassment of an eighth-grade student. This was announced on March 18 in the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the region in the Telegram channel.

"The prosecutor's office helped recover 500,000 rubles from the school for the inaction of its director. <...> The court found that the plaintiff's daughter is in the eighth grade of a rural school, but has been experiencing problems communicating with her peers for a long time: children offend the girl," the department said.

For a long time, the student's mother turned to the director and the village administration for a solution to the problem, but the issue was ignored there. After that, the woman filed a complaint with the court. A psychological examination showed that the girl was having problems with her studies due to bullying.

"By the decision of the Khabarovsk District Court, in accordance with the prosecutor's conclusion, the claims of the girl's mother were satisfied, compensation for moral damage totaling 500 thousand rubles was collected from the school in their favor," the prosecutor's office concluded.
