The police chase in Krasnodar ended in an accident and detention. This was announced on March 17 by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

It is specified that in Krasnodar, on Pashkovskaya Street, the police tried to stop a Mazda 3 car, but the driver continued driving and tried to escape.

During the pursuit, the violator collided with a foreign car, continued driving and crashed into a fence when turning from Yaltinskaya Street to Uralskaya. There he was detained by traffic police officers.

"The likhach turned out to be a 24-year-old resident of the Timashevsky district," the press service informed on the Telegram channel of the department.

Administrative materials were drawn up in relation to the offender under art. 12.25 part 2 ("Failure to comply with the requirement to provide a vehicle or to stop the vehicle"), art. 12.26 part 1 ("Failure by the driver of the vehicle to undergo a medical examination for intoxication"), art. 12.27 ("Failure to fulfill duties in connection with an accident").

On February 2, an accident involving the police occurred in St. Petersburg after chasing the car of a driver who tried to escape from law enforcement officers. The patrol saw a suspicious car and tried to stop it. But instead of parking, the driver hit the gas.
