In the Beloretsky district of Bashkiria, in the village of Gabdyukovo, 15 households were flooded as a result of ice jam on the Bolshoy Inzer River. This was announced on Monday, March 17, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

"As a result of an increase in the water level in the Bolshoy Inzer River (the overflow level is about 50-60 cm), a traffic jam has formed downstream, which has flooded a household on Molodezhnaya Street," the agency wrote on Telegram.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan, no one lives in 11 of the 15 households. There were no casualties, the ministry said.

It is specified that due to the release of ice on the Zuyak – Gabdyukovo road, travel is temporarily not possible.

On February 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed at a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council preparations for the flood and fire season to minimize their consequences.
