At least 30 people have died in the eastern United States as a result of a powerful storm. CNN reported this on March 15, citing officials.

"The death toll has risen to at least 30 people, four people died in Mississippi after tornadoes hit the state," the TV channel reports.

According to ABC News, powerful, extended tornadoes with destructive winds of up to 128 km/h and large hail are expected in the Midwest and South, as well as a hurricane that will move east.

On March 15, CBS reported that 18 people died as a result of a powerful storm in the United States, and tornadoes were reported in six counties. One of the accidents during a dust storm in Texas involved 38 cars, three people died.
