In Moscow, three people were injured due to falling trees.

Three people were injured due to strong winds and falling trees in Moscow, a source told Izvestia on Friday, March 14.
The gale-force wind that hit Moscow also toppled trees and tore off the roof of a building. Video footage of the effects of the weather available to Izvestia shows that the wind caused trees to collapse onto the roofs of cars parked next to residential buildings.
Evgeny Tishkovets, a specialist at the Phobos weather center, also reported that wind gusts in the capital reached 24 m/s in some places.
Roman Vilfand, head of the Hydrometeorological Center, warned on March 14 that a significant drop in temperature and light frosts were expected in Moscow in the near future. According to the forecaster, a cyclone will pass through the capital from March 14: it will rain, the wind will increase, air masses will flow from the northwest, and the temperature will drop by 10 degrees for only one day.
