People to show: Rogov at Fashion Week, Dranga at the exhibition

The fourth Moscow Fashion Week, which started on March 13 at the Manege, became the center of attraction for the gossip columns at the equator of March. Ksenia Sobchak, Maria Minogarova, and Yulia Koval walked the Vereja catwalk, while Evelina Khromchenko watched Alexander Rogov's show. A few days earlier, MUZ TV announced the secret presenters of the upcoming anniversary award, and the art community studied new exhibitions at the Opening Night at the Vinzavod Central Exhibition Center and Soma restaurant. Izvestia — about social events and private events of the past week.
The MUZ TV Award announced the presenters of the ceremony
The coming summer promises a series of large-scale musical events. The first on the calendar will be the MUZ TV Anniversary Award, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. It will be held on June 7 at LiveArena. In the meantime, the organizers are gradually beginning to reveal the details of the upcoming ceremony, which has been dubbed "Legend." On Tuesday, March 11, a traditional press breakfast was held at the Historia restaurant in the capital, where the names of three of the five presenters of the upcoming event were declassified. These are Yana Churikova, Vladimir Marconi and Lera Kudryavtseva, who was the host of the very first ceremony. Among the participants of that show was singer Alsou, who shared a breakfast dedicated to the award with colleagues and journalists.
— I am very glad to be here today. I remember my performance at the first prize. And I remember that it was as unexpected as possible. You could say that I was at the peak of my popularity back then. It was cool," the singer recalled.
Singer Jony, in turn, recalled that he was only nine years old when the award appeared.
"My mom once said, 'God willing, you'll take a plate too.' She knew that since childhood I have wanted to become a musician, I want to connect my life with music, I want to become a professional in this business. And who knew that in 2021 I would be holding this plate in my hands," the artist said.
They were accompanied at the event by Seville (Artik & Asti) and the winner of last year's ceremony in the "Breakthrough of the Year" nomination, XOLIDAYBOY. The names of the 2025 nominees will be announced in April.
The opening day party at the Winery and the opening of the Deaimono exhibition
Last week, representatives of the art community and fans of Sovrisk had a wide range of choices to meet their own aesthetic needs. On March 11, the Vinzavod Center for Contemporary Art hosted a spring Opening Night. New exhibitions were presented by 13 resident galleries at once. pop/off/art offered a series of monochromes "Blue" by artist Ivan Novikov, who fantasizes about the future. FUTURO Gallery, together with the Terminal A Center for Contemporary Art, has made a bet on the project "Every Time you Feel Strong," which addresses the topic of women's self-esteem. HSE ART GALLERY talks about meme culture. And the Generative gallery presented the works of 15 young artists who are trying to comprehend modern challenges through digital tools.
The next day, on Tuesday, March 12, the secular audience met at the Soma restaurant, where the Flor et Lavr Gallery presented Anna Kondratieva's installation exhibition "Deaimono", which means "unexpected meetings" in Japanese. The artist's works are inspired by the Japanese concept of mono no aware, a deep experience of the transience and beauty of change. The drawings are applied to reflective canvases that change under the influence of light. According to the idea, he thus becomes a co-author of the works. The first audience got acquainted with the works accompanied by musical performances by Gleb Andrianov and Anton Beznosyuk. One of the first people to attend the opening was musician Peter Dranga.
Rogov's new show and the star guests of Moscow Fashion Week
The second half of the week was for representatives of the fashion industry. The fourth Moscow Fashion Week has started in the capital. Traditionally, the venue for the shows was the Manege, which housed three podiums. Until March 18, they will host more than 90 shows of Russian and foreign brands. The guests and models include gossip columnists and show business stars.
Actress Alexandra Kiselyova was welcomed at the Alpe Cashmere show on the first day of Izvestia Fashion Week. A few minutes before the start of the show, she recalled that the film "The Firebird" by Roman Mikhailov, where she has the main role, is being released the other day. This is not another film adaptation of a fairy tale. The drama centers on an actress and a theater dancer who flies to India to find her mother, who once abandoned her and joined a sect. Mark Edelstein, rapper Husky, Illarion Marov and Maria Matzel starred with Kiselyova in the project.
That evening, two other domestic brand shows were (literally) thundering in the Arena. While the audience was waiting for the doors to the second hall to open, where Alexander Rogov's screening was to take place at 21:00, applause and shouts of jubilant spectators could be heard from the first. An hour earlier, the Vereja brand "Web of Patterns" was shown there. He was inspired by the carved architraves. In the products, they turned into knitted patterns. Another theme of the collection was the recycling of old clothes, inspired by the tradition of creating knitted rugs. This motif is reflected in accessories, dresses, skirts and coats, where yarn was obtained from recycled items. The audience was surprised by the participation of star models — Ksenia Sobchak, Yulia Koval and Maria Minogarova.
ROGOV, who closed the first day of the screenings, distinguished himself with an impressive stellar team of viewers. TV presenter and fashion expert Evelina Khromchenko, stylists Oleg Gorchanin, Gosha Kartsev, Alexey Sukharev and Sergey Zverev, jewelry designer Georgy Rushev, stand-up comedian Irina Myagkova, founder of the Collected in the Garden project Anton Shuranov, bloggers Stas Kruglitsky and Karina Murashkina, as well as actor Slava Kopeikin, Nyusha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Andrey Zvonky.
— Sasha is different. He mixes different styles in an interesting way, and I like it," Zvonky told Izvestia after the show. — There is something for everyday looks, there is something that can be worn on stage, for me personally. I've been friends with Sasha personally for a while, I buy things from his collections, I perform in them. I noticed a couple of cool images for myself. I really liked the suit — beige shorts and a jacket. I also have loafers, I think it's great for the stage.
In one image, Rogov had a leopard—print jacket over a green shirt, purple tights and silver boots, in the other a gray coat with a contrasting collar over pajama shorts and a T-shirt with flirty white knee socks and classic loafers. Note to fans of hooligan bows.
