Weather forecasters warned Muscovites about possible snow on March 16


On the weekend of March 15 and 16, Muscovites expect mostly clear weather. Light snow is possible on Sunday, according to data from the Yandex Weather service, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 14.
On Saturday, March 15, it will be cloudy in Moscow, with no precipitation expected. Gusts of moderate north-westerly wind will reach 3.6 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be -1... 0, in the afternoon it will remain at +1... +2, and by night it will drop to -2... -1.
"In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be around 0," the forecasters said.
On Sunday, March 16, the weather in the capital will be clear, with light snow possible at night. The temperature in the morning will be -2... +1, in the afternoon it will rise to +4... +6, and at night it will remain at -1... +1. Moderate winds are expected, with gusts reaching 4.2 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the city (Tverskoy, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka), the temperature will be one degree higher throughout the day than in other parts of the city.
As noted in the service, conditions in the Moscow region will remain similar to those in the capital: precipitation is not expected throughout the day, and the temperature will be at the Moscow level or a maximum of one degree lower.
Earlier, on March 12, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, reported that a noticeable temperature increase to about -10 degrees is expected in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug by the end of this week. At the same time, a temperature increase of 25 degrees will occur in the Urals and Siberia.
