A criminal case has been opened in Blagoveshchensk over a fire in an administrative building, as a result of which five people were killed and three injured. This was reported on March 13 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Amur region.
According to the investigation, the second floor of the building was converted into 11 living rooms, which were rented out.
"At the request of the prosecutor, the owner of the premises was detained, and a criminal case was opened against him under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence"), the investigation of which has been brought under control by the city prosecutor's office," the Telegram channel said..
The ministry clarified that two women and three men became victims of the fire. In addition, one of the victims is in serious condition. During the inspection, the regional prosecutor's office will establish all the circumstances of the incident.

The fire on the territory of the administrative building in Blagoveshchensk became known on March 12. It was clarified that five people died as a result of the fire, and three more were injured.
