"By noon, the air temperature, according to the base weather station of the megalopolis, VDNKh, rose to +9.5 degrees, which is 0.3 degrees higher than the previous achievement of this day, set in 2002," the Moscow City News agency quotes the forecaster.

The final value of the new record will be known after 21:00.

The previous record temperature for this day was +9.2 degrees, RIAMO said.

The specialist noted that the temperature in the city will be between +2 and +5 degrees until the end of the week. Precipitation in the city will continue until Saturday, although it will be very small and intermittent.
