Hamas reported the first signs of famine in the Gaza Strip

The Gaza Strip is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe and is already facing the first signs of famine. This was announced on March 11 by Hazem Qassem, a representative of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas.
"Signs of famine are brewing in the Gaza Strip, as the occupation has been preventing food imports for the tenth day," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Qassem called on the Arab states to implement the decisions of the summit held in Egypt and prevent famine among the population, as well as help lift the blockade of the enclave.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has suspended humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip after Hamas refused to accept the US plan to continue negotiations. It was noted that this decision was made by the government in coordination with the administration of the American President Donald Trump. Hamas, in turn, called Israel's decision to stop the import of humanitarian aid cheap blackmail.
