Winter crops in the Russian Federation are 87% in satisfactory condition. This was announced on March 12 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Agri-food policy and Environmental Management.

"87% of our winter crops are in good condition. We really hope that the weather will be good for us. And we will continue to have this situation. In fact, winter crops are the basis for our harvest," he stressed.

Patrushev added that the agro-industry is now entering the phase of spring field work. Farmers are provided with all the necessary resources for their implementation.

The Deputy Prime Minister also recalled that this year the government has allocated an additional 42 billion rubles to subsidize new soft loans, of which 34 billion rubles are short loans that will go directly to the sowing campaign.

At the same time, grain harvest in the Russian Federation in 2025 may reach a minimum of 120 million tons, and a maximum of 125 million tons.
