One person was killed in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region.

As a result of an accident on the 63rd km of the Yekaterinburg - Shadrinsk–Kurgan highway in the Beloyarsk district of the Sverdlovsk region, one person was killed. This was announced on March 11 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"According to preliminary data, the driver of the Niva car, when overtaking a moving vehicle in front in violation of the traffic regulations of the Russian Federation in the area of the no Overtaking sign, was not convinced of the safety of the maneuver, as a result of which he collided with an oncoming KAMAZ truck," the Telegram channel said.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the car died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. Reverse traffic has been temporarily introduced on this section of the road. An investigation has been ordered by the internal affairs bodies into this fact.
