The families of those killed as a result of the attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Moscow region will be paid 1 million rubles. This was announced on March 11 by the Governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov.
"I have decided to pay the families of the dead men 1 million rubles each. The wounded will also receive support: depending on the severity of their injuries, they will be paid from 100 to 500 thousand rubles," the Telegram channel says.
Vorobyov also said that in Domodedovo, near Moscow, it was people who were the target of the drone attack at Miratorg.
In addition, the Miratorg company's press service announced the payment of 1.5 million rubles each to the families of employees who did not survive the drone attack.
"The company expresses its sincere condolences and words of support to the families of the victims and will provide all necessary assistance as soon as possible. These are one—time payments in the amount of 1.5 million rubles, payment for all expenses related to the funeral," the company's website says.
Earlier in the day, an employee of the Miratorg company was killed and two more workers were injured in an attack by Ukrainian drones in Domodedovo. It was noted that the victims were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving all necessary assistance. The total number of people killed in the attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Moscow region was two people, and 18 injured, including three children.
On March 11, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 337 Ukrainian UAVs over the regions, 91 of which were over the territory of the Moscow Region. A criminal case has been opened into this attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").
In turn, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that the attack took place at a time when Feridun Sinirlioglu, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), was visiting Moscow. She added that the visit of a high-ranking foreign delegation to the capital has not been the first time accompanied by an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
