A driver who crashed into a bus stop in Kazan was involved in drug use


The driver of the car that crashed into a bus stop in Kazan was previously involved in the use of narcotic substances. This was reported on March 10 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan.
"It has been established that the taxi driver has been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility, including for the use of narcotic substances and refusal to undergo treatment," the Telegram channel says.
It is noted that the 29-year-old man is not officially employed. Administrative proceedings have also been initiated against the bus driver under Article 12.19 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Stopping or parking a vehicle further than the first row of the edge of the carriageway").
The accident in Kazan became known earlier that day. It is noted that 11 people were injured as a result of a car hitting a bus stop. Nine victims of the accident were hospitalized in moderate condition, including a 12-year-old child. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules").
