Trump called on the congressman who tried to disrupt his speech to take an IQ test
US President Donald Trump has called on Democratic Congressman from Texas Al Green, who tried to disrupt his speech, to take an IQ test. This was reported on March 7 by the Fox News channel.
A member of the House of Representatives from the Democratic Party "should be forced to take an IQ test because he has a low IQ," Trump said in an interview with the publication. He added that people like Green are not needed in Congress.
"No one takes him seriously. <...> He confuses Congress, but he confuses the Democrats much more," the American president emphasized.
Earlier, on March 5, it was reported that Green was escorted out of the hall after he tried several times to interrupt the president's address to Congress. The congressman shouted and raised his cane during Trump's speech, after which, by order of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson, he was escorted out by security.
In February, a member of the House of Representatives from the Democratic Party announced that he intended to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump. Green announced that he would submit an impeachment document for the "vile proposals" of the US president. In his opinion, the American leader deserves to resign.
