According to Trump, he was very close to achieving a denuclearization program with the Russian Federation, and also discussed this issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He, in turn, welcomed the proposals on nuclear disarmament, the US president said.

"But bad things happened, there were elections that were rigged. And we had to come back four years later. But I would really like to start these reflections," Trump said at the White House, the broadcast was posted on the Fox News YouTube channel.
