US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff appreciated and was pleased with the apologies of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky after the scandal with the American leader during negotiations at the White House. This was reported on March 6 by the AFP news agency on the social network X (Ex. Twitter).

"The US Special Representative expressed satisfaction with Zelensky's 'apology' for the scandal in the White House," the agency reports.

A verbal altercation between the leaders of the two countries took place in the Oval Office of the White House on February 28. After the scandal, Zelensky was forced to leave the United States in a hurry.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry named the purpose of Zelensky's scandal in the White House. The skirmish between Zelensky and Trump in the White House was necessary to involve London and Paris in Kiev's negotiations with Washington, said Rodion Miroshnik, ambassador-at-large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for crimes of the Kiev regime.
