The Russians talked about their plans for the spring

According to the survey, 30% of Russians are going to work on their figure this season. 16% of women want to try a different style of clothing, 15% want to change their haircut, and 12% want to change their hair color. Only 5% said they wanted to change their styling, while 6% said they planned to change their perfume.
Among men, 33% say that they plan to take care of their health in the spring. 15% of the respondents said that in the new season they will buy a gym membership and update their wardrobe. 5% of respondents want to purchase new accessories, such as watches or headphones. Another 6% of men want to change their haircut, 3% want to shave off their beard or moustache, and 2% want to grow them back. Some respondents are going to get a tattoo or try other changes in appearance.
At the same time, according to the survey results, 74% of Russians have a desire to update their wardrobe with the onset of the warm season: 65% of respondents annually, and another 9% this spring.
In addition to updating their wardrobe, 59% of the survey participants plan to introduce new habits into their lives with the arrival of the warm season. 22% of respondents plan to eat right, 18% plan to adjust their sleep patterns. Another 15% of the respondents want to play sports, and 14% of them want to focus on self-development.
In addition, more than 60% of respondents are inspired to make changes due to a good mood. Spring discounts are a motivating factor for 12%, family advice and product selections in online stores (5% each, respectively), and the content of bloggers on social networks affects 2%. Another 16% of Russians claim that they use other sources of inspiration.
On March 5, Izvestia reviewed the data of the Postbank. According to them, on the eve of International Women's Day Russians have increased their spending on buying cosmetics and visiting beauty salons. The amounts allocated for these purposes increased by 20 and 17% compared to the same period in 2024, while average receipts increased by 5% (884 rubles) and 9% (1,368 rubles), respectively.
