The Head of State congratulated his colleague from Abkhazia on his victory in the presidential election, noting his long-term work in the leadership of the republic, as well as a stormy, emotional election campaign. The Russian president called the election result good.

Gunba emphasized the crucial role of the personal support of the President of the Russian Federation in solving the problem of energy shortage in the republic.
