Russia has introduced a 50% discount on long-distance train tickets for children under 18. This was reported on March 5 in a document published on the government the website of legal acts.

According to the decree, Russian citizens between the ages of 10 and 18 will receive a preferential coefficient of 0.5 on long-distance trains of all categories in reserved, shared wagons and in class II and III wagons in motor-car rolling stock.

It is specified that the exception is high-speed trains.
