The majority of creative professionals actively use neural networks in their work — 43% of respondents use them on a regular basis, and 68% have a positive attitude towards new technologies. At the same time, this figure reaches 88% among active users, according to the results of a study by the Agency for Creative Industries of Moscow (ANO AKI) and MTS AI, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 6.

In addition, 92% of representatives of the creative industries plan to use neural networks more often in the future. However, so far Russian specialists are not ready to purchase expensive subscriptions — 15% noted the high cost of neural networks, and 63% of respondents are ready to use only free versions.

The products of Open AI (75%), Midjourney (57%) and Yandex (50%) became the favorite tools among creatives when creating content. At the same time, 40% of experts assumed that the development of neural networks would lead to an increase in their income. And only 3% fear that technology may deprive them of earnings.

At the same time, only 8.1% of specialists refuse to seek the help of artificial intelligence (AI). They attributed this to doubts about the quality of the content created by neural networks (53%) and a desire to work with familiar tools (28%). 16% of respondents refuse to use AI, doubting the compliance of the neural network with ethical and legal norms.

Despite this, according to 82%, the quality of the content generated by neural networks has improved over the past year. At the same time, 58% believe that neural networks will not be able to completely displace specialized specialists, and 37% allow partial replacement.

Artists, designers, representatives of the advertising and fashion industries most often use neural networks to generate ideas and new concepts. AI also helps representatives of the creative industries with both analyzing the target audience and market trends, as well as predicting behavior and further changes in the industry. Neural networks help save time and resources by optimizing many processes, as indicated by 89% of respondents.

"Our research shows that the vast majority of specialists and entrepreneurs in the creative industries use artificial intelligence to solve work tasks. At the same time, AI remains a tool, a means to optimize time costs and cannot replace humans. We expect that in the coming years, more and more people will use AI to create creative products, and industrial engineering may become one of the most sought-after skills among creative industry professionals," said Gulnara Agamova, head of the Moscow Creative Industries Agency.

In turn, Andrey Kalinin, CEO of MTS AI, drew attention to the fact that galleries and architectural bureaus are actively implementing chatbots that automate customer service. He suggested that using neural networks would allow creative industries to generate additional revenue.

"We hope that the development of artificial intelligence will accelerate the creation of new products in the creative industries. Neural networks will be able to take on routine tasks that take up a lot of time. This will free up valuable human resources, the shortage of which in Russia is felt in all sectors," he said.

Earlier, on December 26, 2024, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko stated that href="https://iz.ru/1814204/2024-12-26/chernyshenko-ukazal-na-liderstvo-rossii-v-sozdanii-tekhnologii-ii " target="_blank">The Russian Federation is one of the world leaders in the development of artificial intelligence technologies. According to him, Russian scientists have unique neural processors and mathematical models.
