World figure skating champion Gallyamov announced a break in performances

The bronze medalist of the 2022 Olympic Games, figure skater Alexander Gallyamov, who competes with Anastasia Mishina, announced a break from training and performances to recover. He wrote about this on March 5 in his Telegram channel.

The athlete indicated that the decision was not easy for him. This step, among other things, was influenced by the injury he received on Lake Baikal, he noted.

"In agreement with the coaching staff, Nastya and I are taking a short break from training and performances. The enormous workload that has fallen on me during the season is making itself felt. At the Grand Prix stages, I performed with a leg injury, an unnecessary cut on Lake Baikal, general fatigue - all this requires recovery," he explained.

The 2021 World Champion also expressed gratitude for the support and apologized for the canceled performances.
