Trump announced the intention of the American company to buy the Panama Canal
"To further strengthen our national security, my administration will take back control of the Panama Canal. Just today, a major American company announced that it is buying both ports around the Panama Canal and much more related to the Panama Canal, as well as a couple of other channels," Trump said.
During his speech, he also appealed to the people of Greenland and supported their right to "determine their own future." At the same time, the American leader added that he would welcome them if they decide to join the United States.
During the same speech, Trump called on Congress finance the creation of an advanced Golden Dome system to protect the state from external threats. The Head of State called missile defense the main element for strengthening national security. He called on the United States to invest in advanced technologies.
