President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he would discuss the Russian leader Vladimir Putin deal USA and Ukraine on rare earth metals. He said this in an interview with American blogger Mario Naufalu, whose video was posted on BelTA's YouTube channel on Wednesday, March 5.

"Regarding the United States of America and the agreement with Ukraine, this may and most likely does alarm Russia. I think so. I have not discussed these issues with Russia or with Putin, but we will discuss this issue," the Belarusian leader said.

In addition, Lukashenko stated Minsk's readiness to organize negotiations between the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, the American leader By Donald Trump and Putin.

"Therefore, tell Trump: I am waiting for him here with Putin and Zelensky. Let's sit down and calmly come to an agreement. If you want to come to an agreement," Lukashenko invited.

The Head of State clarified that the negotiations in Minsk could have been held "calmly, without noise, without shouting."

Lukashenko also noted that Ukraine escalated relations with Belarus ahead of the West. He recalled Kiev's imposition of sanctions against Minsk and the closure of borders.

"They have arrested thousands of our railway wagons with goods. They still haven't returned it. And about a thousand heavy trucks. They arrested 75 of our citizens, the drivers who worked on these cars," the President of Belarus said, adding that the countries were in a state of economic war even before the outbreak of the Ukrainian conflict.

On the eve of March 4, it was reported that the United States and Ukraine may in the near future href="https://iz.ru/1848987/2025-03-04/reuters-soobshchilo-o-planakh-ssha-i-ukrainy-podpisat-soglashenie-po-mineralam"> to sign an agreement on the supply of rare earth minerals after the deal was not concluded at the White House. It is specified that Trump wants to announce this in his address to Congress on Tuesday evening, local time.
