The President USA Donald Trump advised the president Of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should "make no mistake" about the fact that the conflict in Ukraine will continue for a long time. He stated this on February 3, speaking to reporters at the White House.
At the same time, the American leader also promised to talk soon about the details of further actions regarding the deal with rare earth metals.
"We're going to make a speech, you've probably heard about it. Tomorrow night, I'll let you know tomorrow night," he said.
Trump also said that Zelensky "will need to demonstrate" that he appreciates the support that the United States provides to Kiev in this conflict.
"I think [Zelensky] just needs to be more appreciative, because this country (the United States) has supported him in any situation," the president said.
According to him, the Russian Federation is currently striving for peace and a settlement of the current situation. Also, the head of the White House, commenting on the statement of the Ukrainian leader about the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict, stressed that the opponent of the deal "will not stay for long."
"Maybe someone doesn't want to make a deal right now, and if someone doesn't want to make a deal, then I think that person won't stay here for long. They won't listen to this person for too long. Because I believe that Russia wants to make a deal," Trump said.
