The Speaker of the Armenian Parliament will visit the Russian Federation to participate in the meeting of the IPA CIS

Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alain Simonyan will participate in the meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the CIS, which will be held in St. Petersburg in April, the press secretary of Speaker of the legislative body Alain Simonyan Movses Harutyunyan told Izvestia.

"Yes, it's true, the Speaker of the National Assembly will take part in the assembly, which will be held in St. Petersburg in April," he said.

Alain Simonyan did not participate in the meeting of the IPA CIS on July 12, 2024 in St. Petersburg.

Yesterday it became known that the Permanent Commission on European Integration of the Armenian Parliament postponed the discussion of the bill in the second reading on the beginning of the process of the country's accession to the European Union.
