An elderly man was killed in an attack on a bus station in Haifa, Israel.


One person was killed and four injured in an attack by an unknown man with a knife at the central bus station in Haifa, Israel. This was reported on March 3 by the Israeli portal Ynet.
It is indicated that the attacker was shot dead at the scene.
A 70-year-old man was killed in the attack.
"Ambulance crews evacuated four injured people. <...Among the seriously injured are a 15—year-old boy, as well as a man and a woman aged about 30 years. A woman aged about 70 years was injured with moderate severity," the article says.
Earlier, on February 27, at least 10 people injured when a car hit a bus stop near the village of Pardes-Khany in Israel. The car drove onto the sidewalk, hit a group of people, then drove a few more kilometers and crashed into a police car. After that, the attacker tried to escape, but was soon overtaken by law enforcement officers and eliminated. He turned out to be a 50-year-old Palestinian who was in the country illegally. Later number of victims increased to 14.
